Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays of the year. It’s full of Family, Food, and Fun. In the past, thanksgiving has been a time of reflection. A time to reflect on all the wonderful blessings we have received throughout the year. As I sit here on the couch with the hubby, I feel overwhelmingly blessed and thankful. I am thankful that our paths and crossed with the newest member of the family; Kellen. Kellen is our foster to adopt son, and I must admit; Tre and I am in love already. His arrival has made this Thanksgiving particularly special, mostly because we were able to share this Family Holiday with him. In thanksgivings past, we have been grateful to have a wonderful family and wonderful friends to share the holidays with, but it always felt like there was something or someone missing. But, that was not the feeling this year. Since day one (approx. 2wks ago), he adapted and has adjusted perfectly with us; it’s like he was meant to be here. His arrival alone, has made this the best Thanksgiving ever. Things for him have not been the best, which ultimately, led him to be placed with us. I hope with all my heart that we can show him what love is and the meaning of family. On Thanksgiving day the house was full of love and family and it was wonderful to witness Kellen being part of all of it. I look forward to our future with Kellen and my hope is that he is finally HOME.

I loved it so much I've decided to show my card making, scrapbooking, and various other altered paper creations. Enjoy.
